This film started with a simple truth. The bike is always there. It is the first thing I see when I leave my room and the last thing I think about before the next race. A lot of people see race day. They do not always see the rain rides, the empty parking lots, the long drives, or the uncertainty that comes with chasing elite downhill racing.

From Windrock mountain bike park roots to racing the UCI mountain bike world cup circuit, House on the Hill shows what it actually feels like to move from amateur racing into the elite category. Every riding segment in this film is practice. There are no shortcuts. Just repetition, risk, and belief.

This mountain bike documentary dives into the pressure of professional downhill competition, the grind of securing cycling sponsorships, and the reality of trying to be both a student and a pro athlete at the same time. It also reflects the resurgence of American downhill racing and how hard it is to earn a place on that stage.

More than a downhill mountain biking film, this is a story about dedication, doubt, and showing up anyway.

If you care about mountain bike documentaries, pro MTB racing, elite competition, or the culture behind downhill mountain biking, this project was made for you.
